The Role:

Dreaming of warmer weather? The Clinical Governance Advisor role is a Full Time position working 38 hours per week, based in Darwin City, NT. This position provides the opportunity to champion clinical excellence and drive consistent, informed practice. Focus on clinical risk management, especially safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

 

This position is based in Darwin, Northern Territory. A relocation incentive of $3000 is available for eligible applicants as well as 14 days of accommodation fully covered by the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support all clinical governance aspects across the organisation’s support services. 
  • Provision of clinical advice on policies and procedures, projects, reports, and data interpretation that will contribute to quality improvement processes, risk management systems, and the overarching clinical governance framework. 
  • Establishing operational procedures which impact on activities undertaken and outcomes achieved by the organisation and/or activities undertaken by sections of the community served by the organisation
  • Decision-making and the provision of expert advice to other areas of the organisation.

 

To Be Successful:

  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Welfare Studies or Men’s Family Violence with substantial experience in a similar role.
  • A comprehensive knowledge and knowledge of successfully developing and implementing organisational or system level clinical governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and engaging accreditation processes.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Current QLD class C driver’s license, transferred to NT license once relocated 
  • Current Working With Children Check (Ochre Card), or ability to obtain
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or have unlimited work rights within Australia.
